THE LEGO GROUP REVEALS A HUGE, NEW SPIDER-MAN DAILY BUGLE SETġ8 th May 2021: Today, the LEGO Group reveals the new LEGO ® Daily Bugle set, an intricate version of the iconic newspaper building, complete with the demanding editor, J. It will have a street date of 26 th May for LEGO VIP members and 1 st June, 2021 for the public at all LEGO Brand and Certified Stores. LEGO Daredevil was teased in the LEGO Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown (76108). Jonah Jameson, Betty Brant, Venom, Miles Morales, Spider-Ham, Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy, Carnage, Punisher, Peter Parker, Ghost-Spider, Black Cat, Robbie Robertson, Ben Urich, Mysterio, Daredevil, Sandman, Aunt May, Ron Barney, Bernie the Cab Driver, Amber Grant.Īnd the Daily Bugle set would also be the debut of the Daredevil and Blade minifigures. Here is the full list: Fire Star, Blade, Doctor Octopus, Spider-Man, J. The usual suspects are all here and I’m quite impressed that they included side characters like Robbie Robertson, Ron Barney, Bernie the Cab Driver, Amber Grant and Betty Brant. It also takes the crown for the most number of minifigures in one set (I think) which is a whopping twenty-five! Even the LEGO Star Wars Death Star (75159) had only 23 minifigures and a couple of them were repeated generic figures. It clocks in at 3,772 pieces which makes it the largest LEGO Marvel set ever released. Little did I know that it would eventually develop into one of the largest sets to be released in 2021 making this the most expensive LEGO Spider-Man minifigure battle pack in history. ©2021 The LEGO® Group. The LEGO Daily Bugle set was first rumoured somewhere near the end of last year and I had thought LEGO would just release a cursory update to the LEGO Spider-Man: Daily Bugle Showdown (76005) in 2013. The top floor also features both Betty Brant and J. Moving up to the second floor, the villainous Green Goblin can be seen smashing a window to get to Peter Parker’s office where his camera lies waiting for the next story. Within the building there are several famous settings from the various universes, including the ground floor entrance that can be destroyed to look like an explosion has taken place and the newsroom on the first floor complete with the usual office furniture of desks and computers, but also much needed donuts and other treats! The whole set is also modular meaning you can remove walls and floors to get to the action within. The LEGO Daily Bugle is incredibly detailed both inside and out, with four floors, the front street and the back alley. The official press release describes the set as follows: Today, I get to share a preliminary look at the Daily Bugle coming soon from the LEGO® Group. I have been waiting for this Superheroes set for a long time. I feel the LEGO Group heard my prayers and the clouds parted to shine heavenly light upon me. The latest 18+ Marvel Superheroes set arrived on my doorstep, new for summer 2021. However, I recently received a shipment from the LEGO® Group that blew me away. We get vehicle after vehicle, even when vehicles do not make sense for a character. The LEGO® Group does not make enough buildings in the theme. I am a fan of the Superheroes themes, but primarily for the Minifigures.
